Workshop: Digital Restoration of Manuscripts: An Introduction to Techniques

During this workshop you'll be shown the basic techniques for digitally restoring manuscripts and get the chance to have a go for yourself. If you have a project in mind, you can also bring along your own images to work on. The workshop will be led by Julia Craig-McFeely, director of the Digital Image Archive of Medieval Music and will take place on MAC computers using Adobe Photoshop software.
Places on this workshop are extremely limited so they will be offered on a first come, first served basis and we will keep a waiting list. (We do hope to offer some further dates in the future, too.)
Please email katherine.butler@music.ox.ac.uk to register by 31 March. If places are still available, you will be asked to confirm your registration by sending a cheque for £10. This will be returned to you on the day of the workshop, or cashed for non-attenders who don't give sufficient notice for their place to be offered to those on the waiting list.
