The Tudor Partbooks Project has another busy programme of events scheduled for 2016. Here are some dates for your diary. More details to follow nearer the time.
6 Feb: Tudor Music Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, Oxford (or take part remotely)
Help us to improve Wikipedia articles relating to Tudor Music. No experience needed as the Bodleian Library's Wikimedian-in-Residence, Martin Poulter, will be on hand to show us how it's done.
11-13 March: RECON 3, Newcastle
The third (and perhaps last) of our workshops on reconstructing incomplete Tudor Polyphony, with a particular focus on repertory from Baldwin's partbooks.
9 April: 'Afterlives of Music Manuscripts', Newcastle
In conjunction with Plainsong and Medieval Music Society's AGM, a study day exploring what happens to music manuscripts in the decades and centuries after they were first copied.
14-15 May: Tudor Partbooks at the Oxford Early Music Festival
Look out for our reconstruction open day (showcasing our work on the Sadler Partbooks) and other events.
5-8 July: Tudor Partbooks at the Medieval and Renaissance Music Conference, Sheffield
Plans are afoot for a day of sessions devoted to Tudor Music
We hope to see you at some of these events!
